**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

This job serves as a Physician liaison and a resource for others in the department. Performs imaging procedures within applicable scope and standards of practice and in accordance with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Delivers a positive patient experience and serves as a role model for the Core Behaviors. Collaborates with AHN leadership, staff, physician offices and designated external agencies and vendors.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Performs all essential job responsibilities of a Mammography Technologist, including but not limited to performing age-specific diagnostic imaging per established protocols. Effectively communicates and interacts with patients, physicians and other team members. Addresses patient and physician concerns. Responds to adverse events and/or any changes with patient's status.
