Maintenance Technician

A well known Akron company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech. This is a great opportunity for an individual with the desire to grow and learn while on the job.

1st shift 7am- 3pm Monday-Friday
Pay starts at $19/hr but is DOE
This is a long term, temp to hire opportunity

Position Summary:
This role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment improvements while following established procedures, safety standards, and technical instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, equipment setups, repairs, and upgrades according to manuals, diagrams, and engineering instructions.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on factory equipment.

Work with motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, distribution systems, and electrical test equipment.
