Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Lakewood, NJ
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am till 4:30 pm


Responsibilities


+ Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair work involving plastic component making processes such as pipe and profile extrusion, injection molding, hot plate welding, sonic welding, punching, drilling, slitting, lathe turning, and mechanical assembly operations

+ Troubleshoot and repair machinery using schematics related to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

+ Perform preventative maintenance of equipment according to schedule or as needed

+ Collaborate with Engineering Department on new equipment and updates, including researching parts and writing purchase requisitions

+ Understand and work with Programmable Logic Controls and Servos
