Maintenance Engineer

Birmingham – £56,000 salary per annum.

4 on 4 off Days & Nights, 12‑hour shifts. Overtime at 1.3x, 1.5x plus 6% pension.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for keeping a wide range of manufacturing machinery running efficiently across a busy production site.

• Reactive breakdown maintenance across production machinery and plant equipment
• Working on rollers, strippers, formers, extruders, steamers and pressers
• Supporting machine uptime within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For

• A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC, etc.)
• Previous experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Ability to work independently within a highly reactive maintenance environment
