Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00, with potential for overtime

SRG are currently recruiting for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join a successful and growing client based in Tamworth.

This is a hands‑on role focused on maintaining, diagnosing and improving pant machinery to ensure safe, efficient and reliable operations. As the Mechanical Maintenance/Plant Engineer, you will play a key role in minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement.

This role provides clear progression pathways, supported by ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose and repair plant equipment and machinery
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and fault finding
• Manage spare parts stock
• Support design and development of new equipment
