Purpose

The purpose of this role would be to carry out planned, preventative and routine maintenance to ensure the smooth running of a range of equipment and machinery on site at SEM. In addition, this role has the responsibility for responding to breakdowns; and carrying out necessary repairs as well as assisting with the installation of new equipment.

The role will also cover the building and facilities, working with external contractors to ensure plant and equipment is maintained.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative maintenance on a full range of machine shop and assembly line equipment including PC, PLC and CNC controlled machines.
• React quickly to faults and breakdowns, communicating clearly with affected parties and working efficiently to fix the issue.
