Position Overview
Responsibilities - Develop, deploy, and support new and existing mainframe-based applications throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Coordinate with clients and IT personnel to analyze system requests and develop specifications for new projects or maintenance.
- Prepare unit and integration test plans and perform testing in cooperation with stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough problem analysis regarding technical systems and application programs, documenting findings and proposing resolutions.
- Serve as a Project Lead for smaller projects and act as a mentor for less experienced engineers.
- Prepare user and operational documentation for all programming work performed.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities to support production as needed.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
