Job Title: Machinist
Location: Lakewood, NJ

Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $22.00/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week, 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday-Friday


Machinist Responsibilities:


+ Operate metalworking tools to machine parts that meet specifications and quality requirements.

+ Assist manufacturing to minimize unplanned downtime and improve Overall Equipment Efficiency.

+ Maintain a clean workspace and organized tooling cabinet.

+ Contribute to a multi-departmental team to resolve manufacturing problems.

+ Design jigs, fixtures, and other equipment to enhance production efficiency.

+ Follow all company policies, procedures, safety practices, and OSHA regulations.

+ Recognize wasteful processes and implement improvements to increase production speed and efficiency.
