**Machine Operator**

**Job Description**

The Machine Operator safely operates and adjusts a Bottomer machine used in the manufacturing of packaging bags. This role focuses on setting up the machine for different bag types, performing changeovers, monitoring production, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. The position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate the Bottomer machine to fold and form the bottom of bags according to production specifications.
+ Perform machine set-ups and changeovers depending on the type and size of bags being manufactured, which may occur once or multiple times per shift.
+ Monitor machine performance throughout the shift and make basic adjustments to maintain consistent quality and output.
