The Engineer, Rail Design Development (Civil) is responsible for the design management of railway projects, including new rail lines and station rejuvenation programs. You will work with a team to oversee consultants in developing railway schemes (new and existing stations), develop new rail alignments, and devise strategies to address overcrowding and enhance station accessibility and vibrancy for rejuvenating stations.
Your responsibilities include managing engineering studies (both feasibility and advance engineering studies), coordinating with internal stakeholders and government agencies to incorporate their requirements into the design proposal, safeguarding railway corridors, engaging stakeholders and operators, and securing planning approvals and project budgets.
