Salary: This position follows the Collective Bargaining Agreement Salary Schedule based on experience, starting at $43,386 for the 26/27 SY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 190 days/year
Job Goal: To support the professional staff in meeting the medical and educational needs of the students to whom the Employee is assigned.
Performance Responsibilities:
1. Works with the certified school nurse to implement medical services as prescribed for the assigned student.
2. Assists the certified school nurse in developing and maintaining a medical management plan for the student.
3. Performs medical procedures and monitors the student's response under the direction of the certified school nurse.
4. Provides input to the teacher regarding relevant information on the assigned student's medical concerns and/or related areas.
