The role provides care to individuals requiring long-term placement in a home-like setting. The unit also includes a Transitional Rehabilitation area. Here, care is provided for patients recovering from various conditions. Nursing services may include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment. The long-term care unit specializes in facilitating a nurturing environment for residents. Flexibility is required to cover shifts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
