Role Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the Crisis Center RN Manager, the LPHA performs clinical activities including independent assessments and service interventions as directed by the recovery plan and/or identified client needs. In coordination with the RN on duty, and the psychiatrist, determines eligibility for admission to the Crisis Center (involuntary extended observation unit and voluntary crisis residential unit.) This position may provide assessments, crisis intervention, skills training, case management, case monitoring and psychotherapy in the Crisis Center. Monitors client progress with treatment goals to determine effectiveness of interventions until goals are achieved.
