Description

The Temp Controlled Carrier Procurement role is the operational support for our nationwide sales team. The role is responsible quoting carrier costs as well and building shipment and scheduling shipments. This role requires the ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize daily workload. All candidates must be able to overcome issues and resolve problems. Candidate must be comfortable on the phone and have great communication skills with the ability to relay information accurately and efficiently. Strong negotiating skills and the ability to develop relationships with carriers are a must. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, develop your logistics skills and collaborate with very talented people across our organization. 

Primary Responsibilities: 
· Utilize TMS system as well as web-based load boards to book and track shipments of freight · Ability to multi-task and get accurate updates to sales force
