Hire Resolve’s client in the Beverage Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Logistics Specialist to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape.
Responsibilities:
Focus on data and cost reduction within operations. Analyze local supply chain costs, supporting the local logistics team in implementing cost-saving initiatives Work on the inbound container network and improve Port Direct Container % for CPT, PE, and DBN by a minimum of 5% for these ports of entry based on the current base container volume Manage reports and reconcile all stock aging Cost analysis on material movements Reduction in DEM/DET cost for all shipments and imports Act as a stand-in for the Logistics Coordinator & Logistics Manager functions Supply Logistics and Demand Planning with IBT Evaluation of costs, rate cards, and rate increases in support of rate negot...
