Overview
A Level III NICU is seeking ongoing monthly locum coverage. Role includes daily NICU rounding and call coverage. No newborn nursery rounding.
Practice Highlights
• Level III NICU, Level II Trauma Center
• Average NICU census: 7-12 patients/day
• Call-back required but rare (avg 4.7 hrs)
• No APP support
• Supports FP residents, Pediatric Hospitalists, Laborists
• EMR: Cerner Care B
Schedule
• Orientation: Afternoon prior to first shift
• Coverage Needed:
- January 11-20 (ending 21st AM)
- 11th-20th (ending 21st AM) every month ongoing
• Daily NICU rounding + call coverage
• No nursery rounding
