Main duties of the job

Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust has an Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and a modern expanding Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).

Acute Medical Unit has 7 consultants. Most of the consultants work less than full time in Acute Medicine and have other speciality interest including renal medicine, endocrine and intensive care.

Darent Valley hospital has a 34-bedded AMU. The AMU is supported by pharmacy and IDT teams' presence on the ward to help support safe discharges. You will be scheduled to be consultant of the day or support consulta...
