CPL UK Health are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Consultant in Clinical Oncology for an NHS Trust in the Oxfordshire Area.

This job is to start from 5th September (or ASAP) for 3 months with a view to extend. They may delay start for the right candidate.

Job description

The job plan will be approximately 40 hours per week. Each 4-hour clinic has 2 new and 7 follow up patients; for a 42-week year, a full-time post holder is likely to see 250 – 300 new patients. The post-holder will specialize in Uro-Oncology and Breast malignancies. There is flexibility within our service for candidates to specialize primarily in radiotherapy if they prefer, and the final configuration of the post will depend on the interests of the candidate. 

Previous NHS experience and we will need minimum 3 years of referencing. The doctor will need to have good communication skills and be able to safely manage all duties.
