We are looking for a Highly skilled and proactive Loading Bay Engineer to carry out both breakdown repairs (reactive maintenance) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on loading bay equipment.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
This includes dock levellers, scissor lifts , roller shutter doors, loading bay gates and associated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities for aLoading Bay Engineer: Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair faults on scissor lifts, dock levellers, and other loading bay equipment.
Carrying out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic fault-finding, part replacement, and urgent breakdown support.
Complete scheduled PPM to SLA standards, including inspections, testing, lubrication, adjustments, calibrations, and identifying early wear or safety issues.
Ensure all work complies with PUWER, LOLER and company safety procedures.
