Our Miami office seeks a talented Associate with 2+ years of civil or commercial litigation experience, preferred. Background in insurance defense, premise liability, construction, and other complex litigation a plus.


Your Day-to-Day:

+ Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery

+ Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements

+ Assist with trial preparation and/or attend trial.

+ Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel

+ Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Requirements



+ Previous experience in civil and commercial litigation is preferred

+ Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy
