**Job Description**
BAE Systems is hiring an experienced Lineman to join our facilities team at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant.
As a Lineman you will have the following responsibilities:

+ Maintain, repair, replace, and inspect electric power transmission, distribution lines and communication lines.
+ Perform all phases of power line maintenance with a minimum degree of supervision.
+ Install, replace, repair or otherwise maintain transformers, switches, protective devices and other auxiliary equipment.
+ Test lines and component parts using various test instruments.
+ String wires; climb poles or work from aerial lifts or temporary structures.
+ May be required to dig holes, clear right-of-way, or perform other duties incident to line maintenance.
+ Perform routine general electrical maintenance as assigned.
+ Perform Root Cause Analysis/5 Why on significant mechanical breakdowns and equipment failures.
