Position Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily kitchen and service operations
- Actively participate in cooking and food preparation during service
- Plan and manage prep schedules to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee inventory handling, stock levels, and ordering supplies
- Receive deliveries, check quality/accuracy, and ensure proper storage
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
- Lead, train, and support team members (line cooks, kitchen associates)
- Ensure efficient workflow during busy hours and step in wherever needed
- Monitor food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Handle customer concerns professionally when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant/kitchen
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, prep planning, and inventory management
