Life Safety Technician
The Life Safety Technician maintains and manages the site's Toxic Gas Monitoring (TGM) systems and associated detection devices, supporting safe semiconductor manufacturing operations. This includes coordination, inspection, testing, and maintenance of gas detection systems integrated throughout cleanrooms, sub-fabs, and hazardous materials storage areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the site TGM system and all associated detection devices.
- Coordinate and support all work on CM4s, System 16, Seiger DigiCat, and other gas-detection instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate detection equipment, requiring solid electronic and mechanical aptitude.
- Ensure proper parts, consumables, and materials are available through proactive planning and communication.
- Support Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities when hazardous gas alarms or life-safety events occur.
