Position Overview
Position Summary: Under the leadership of the departmental Nursing Director and the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing culturally sensitive care that is appropriate for the patient's developmental age. The Licensed Practical Nurse effectively interacts with patients, family members, and other health team members, follows the nursing plan of care as it has been formulated, and maintains the standards of professional nursing.
Basic Qualifications: LPN - Requires a high school diploma or a GED and graduation from a Licensed Practical Nurse program from an accredited vocational or community college.
