Provides and documents individualized patient care to include patient evaluation, education, medication administration, IV therapy, treatments, and patient safety as directed by the RN or provider.

Demonstrates competency in advanced practical nursing skills and use of patient care/unit equipment as defined by unit specific requisite skills. Communicates appropriate information regarding the patient's condition to the RN and other members of the healthcare team. Assists RN or provider during examinations and procedures. Documents patient data, and patient education according to Orlando Health and department specific guidelines.
