Responsibilities - Under the direction of the RN on the unit, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Licensed Practical (LPN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Provide direct patient care to medically complex and/or critically ill patients requiring extended hospitalization
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals (Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, Case Managers, Dietitians, Speech Language Pathologists, and more) to assist in carrying out individualized care plans
