Assist in scheduling appointments and testing according to protocol.
Assist in contacting insurance companies to obtain appropriate insurance authorizations for all testing, and medications as needed.
Works closely with patients to communicate any changes and/or concerns.
Schedule/track appointments according to protocol and insurance needs.
Inform provider of any patient or clinician concerns while in process of scheduling patient for testing (e.g., hospital pre-testing issues, medical clearance issues, etc).
Assists patient in the achievement of identified goals by carrying out the prescribed plan of care.
Demonstrates patient advocacy by assuring a patient's right to privacy, safety and confidentiality.
Maintains current knowledge and skills by participating in relevant educational and training programs.
