Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Citadel of Glenview is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team! As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be caring for a group of residents and assuming responsibility and accountability for them. Nursing is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provides required resident assessments/observations and interventions, reviewing care plans to ensure appropriate care.
• Takes and records residents blood pressure and vital signs, administers catheter care, administers IV therapy to residents as ordered within license limitations, and provides respiratory care, e.g. oxygen, nebulizer treatments.
