**Job Description**

**_Licensed Air Conditioning Engineer-Mount Sinai West_**


Inspects, operates, maintains, and repairs Central Plant equipment such as cooling towers pumps, fans, engines, generators, turbines, liquid chillers, compressors and compressed air systems, vacuum systems, heating and ventilating equipment, emergency power generation and distribution systems and related auxiliary equipment via hand and or computerized controls. Performs tests, submits reports, and documents all work and activities. Performs all related duties as assigned by the A/C Foreman, Assistant Engineering Director or Engineering Director.


**Qualifications**

**_Requirements:_**


+ HS Diploma/GED
+ Trade School/Community College
+ 5 years + experience plant experience with >1000 ton + centrifugal chillers. Healthcare experience preferred.
