Information Literacy
Evaluate, select and order new instructional materials, both print and digital, that meet the needs of the library program and meet defined district policy and procedures Provide instruction in research skills and inquiry methods to students and staff Provide opportunities to help learners become creative problem solvers and independent users and producers of ideas and information Provide formal and informal instruction to students and staff in the access and use of library instructional resources Model effective strategies for developing multiple literacies InquiryCollaborate with teachers to plan and deliver instruction that supports the curriculumProvide instruction based on the inquiry approach to learningPromote student inquiry to pursue, create, and share knowledgeOffer professional development opportuni...
