Responsibilities

• cataloguing and managing library resources; providing reference services to patrons; creating and maintaining a welcoming environment; creating displays of library materials; helping patrons with locating information; supervising library staff; and ensuring the library is well maintained.

Qualifications

• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• strong organizational abilities
• knowledge of cataloguing systems
• ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as to work cooperatively with other librarians and staff members
