Responsibilities

• Manage the acquisition, cataloging, and maintenance of library materials.
• Provide reference assistance to patrons both in-person and online.
• Conduct research for patrons as needed.
• Assist with the planning and execution of library programs, events, and displays.
• Maintain accurate records of library usage and materials borrowed.
• Collaborate with other librarians to update collection policies and procedures.
• Train new staff members on library procedures and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian.
• Knowledge of library systems such as Dewey Decimal Classification or Library of Congress Classification.
