Librarian Coordinator for Special Academic Programs and Outreach (Instructor or Assistant Professor)
**FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT**
The Librarian Coordinator for Special Academic Programs and Outreach will serve as the formal contact person between the library and special academic programs. The coordinator will report directly to the Chief Librarian and will be responsible for monitoring and improving the library’s impact on the academic programs’ student learning and success.
Hostos Community College has several special academic programs that address a variety of student needs. Examples include College Now, College Discovery, CUNY Start, CUNY Math, CUNY English, CLIP, ASAP, middle and high school programs. The primary role of the Coordinator is to foster communication between the library and the college’s academic programs.
