Librarian in El-Ain, UAE. El-Ain Public Library is looking for an experienced and motivated librarian to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage the public with library services.
• Organize and shelve library materials; assist patrons seeking information;
• Manage borrowing systems and maintain databases of books and other materials;
• Assist in cataloguing new items;
• Develop plans for library programming and create promotional materials;
• Coordinate special events and help patrons find the right material for their needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in library sciences or related field.
• Experience in a public library setting.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
