At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
The successful fabricators will be expected to work with a variety of industry equipment in carrying out various fabrication duties.
The role will see candidates working day shifts, on a Monday – Thursday basis, with an opportunity to work night shifts once fully trained which incurs an additional 33% shift premium.
Work with various materials (titanium, aluminium, stainless steel) in the manufacture of aircraft parts, across a variety of Airbus family of aircraft
Ensure parts are produced on a ‘right first time’ basis
Be responsible for the timely clearance of work phases using the SAP system
