Position Overview
Responsibilities
Collect loan payments: Contact borrowers via phone, email, or in person to collect overdue loan payments according to established schedules and procedures.
Maintain accurate records: Track all customer interactions, payment histories, and collection efforts in the company's database or other designated systems.
Build and maintain customer relationships: Communicate effectively with borrowers, address their concerns, and work with them to develop repayment plans that meet their individual needs while minimizing loan defaults.
Qualifications
Some positions may require some college coursework in business, finance, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with borrowers in a professional and empathetic manner, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve conflicts amicably.
