Job Description
A large commercial banking client is looking for a Lending Assistant to join their organization. This person will be assisting lenders in all preclosing activity to ensure a smooth closing process. This person will be assisting the lenders in obtaining the appropriate documentation and information necessary for the loan application processing and portfolio management. This team is looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset to anticipate needs within the preclosing process. Responsibilities will include:
 - Reviewing the loan approval and kicking off the preclosing process
 - Work with attorneys or internal doc prep to prepare documents for closing and coordinate closing dates
 - Collect due diligence documents
 - Process initial loan payments such as lines of credit, payoffs and credit advances
 - Review Title commitment
 - Prepare booking packages post closing
