Position Overview

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team in Winnipeg. Reporting to the Vice President, Legal, the Legal Counsel will support a broad range of corporate law matters, with a primary focus on advising the corporate development team on the negotiation and execution of M&A transactions, as well as leading commercial contracting activities. Responsibilities

Support M&A activity by working effectively and efficiently with the corporate development department to:

Draft and negotiate transaction documents Provide advice regarding transaction structures Liaise and collaborate with external counsel and opposing counsel Liaise and collaborate with lenders, landlords, regulators and other third parties regarding transactions, and provide related advice to the business
