Position Overview

Job Summary
:Bechtel is looking for an employment lawyer to join its Global Labor and Employment Law team to provide support to Bechtel’s business and other stakeholders in India. This lawyer will be based in Bechtel’s Gurugram office and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Reports to the Senior Counsel, Global Employment & Labor and operates with minimal guidance, receiving overall direction on key matters. Maintains regular communication with India management and teams (HR, finance, procurement), external advisors, global teams, and HR to ensure legal compliance across the organization.
Major Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted legal advisor to HR, Employee Relations, and business teams on end‑to‑end employment and labor law matters.

Ensure compliance with applicable Indian labor and employment laws across Bechtel offices and projects.
