**PURPOSE:**
The Legal Clerk performs clerical work and legal research to support the legal team under the supervision of an attorney. The incumbent will provide support in preparing cases, managing attorney files and documents, drafting and maintaining legal documents and licenses, and ensuring compliance with court and regulatory requirements and other associated filings.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
+ Performs clerical and administrative duties such as managing correspondence, requesting and organizing files, locating documents and licenses, performing database searches, distributing case material, performing data entry, scheduling meetings and supporting general office operations.
+ Organize, review, and maintain attorney files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date. Prepare drafts of legal documents and licenses as directed by a supervisor and/or attorneys.
