What the role is:

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS) administers and enforces Singapore’s competition, consumer protection and legal metrology laws. Amongst various things, CCS conducts investigations and takes enforcement action in appropriate cases, whilst providing effective advice to the Government and public authorities on national needs and policies in competition, consumer protection and legal metrology matters.

What you will be working on:

You will assist in the Commission's administration and enforcement of the Competition Act against cartels, dominant companies that abuse their position and mergers which substantially lessen competition. You will also be involved in the administration and enforcement of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, the Consumer Protection (Trade Descriptions and Safety Requirements) Act, and the Weights and Measures Act.
