Position Overview
Summary The primary purpose of this position is to manage and provide advice, clerical, and administrative support to the installation commander, tenant wing commanders, group and unit commanders, and first sergeants on the involuntary discharge of Air Force uniformed personnel; to serve as the coordinator for the installation Victim Witness Assistance Program and to provide the victims and witnesses with information on the statutory and regulatory rights under the Crime Victim's Rights Act. Responsibilities Advises leadership, prepares, reviews, and processes administrative discharges and provides administrative support to discharge boards. Coordinates, processes, and reports all activity of the Victim and Witness Assistance Program (VWAP). Provides training to paralegals and newly assigned personnel.
