About the role

We are seeking outstanding candidates across the academic spectrum (Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Associate Professor) in Mathematics Education. In this role you will contribute to teaching, research and service within initial teacher education programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver research‑informed teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Support students in professional experience placements.
• Contribute to curriculum development.
• At more senior levels, demonstrate academic leadership through mentoring colleagues, leading research initiatives, securing external funding and contributing to school and university strategy.
• Bring expertise in the New Zealand Curriculum and contemporary mathematics teaching practices.
