INTRODUCTION

The North-West University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position, which forms part of the New Generation of Academics Programme (nGAP) of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). Preference will be given to applications from black (African, Coloured and Indian), female and disabled candidates. Applicants must be SA citizens and 40 years or younger of age. The nGAP represents the ninth phase of the Staffing South African Universities Framework (SSAUF), which the Minister of Higher Education and Training approved at the start of 2015 as an initiative to improve the academic staffing capacity of South African universities.
