**Teaching (70%)**

+ Teach up to 16 students each semester in JAZZ 100/121/221—Applied Study in Commercial Voice and/or Commercial Guitar
+ Develop (Fall 2026) and teach (Spring 2027) a new 3-credit hour course in Songwriting
+ Additional teaching duties may include MUS 280—Introduction to Music Production; JAZZ 409—Jazz and Commercial Music Combos

**Research/Creative Activity (20%)**

+ Establish a research/creative agenda pursuant of artistic growth and an expanding reputation of excellence.
+ Participate actively in the cultural and intellectual life of the School and the University.
