Learning Support Assistant - Greenwich - ASAP Start

A thriving school in Greenwich is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who has a passion to make a difference to children's lives. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with young people, be confident, committed and calm, and have a desire to work with young people and be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
• Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
• Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
• Keeping track and recording pupil progress.
• This role will provide essential experience and training, working with children who need extra support and care to progress.
