Job Description The Lead Technician, Mechanical Engineering provides technical support with troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment and packaging equipment to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics. Applies technical knowledge with regards to mechanical design, PLCs, Vision Systems, Robots, Servos, etc. to resolve problems in the manufacturing process. Hands‑on application of technical knowledge to resolve machine and process issues with regards to mechanical, electrical, or programming of high‑speed automated equipment. Performs corrective and preventive maintenance and develops initiatives to improve efficiency on all machines under the employee’s responsibility.
