We offer fun activities and developmental learning opportunities for children while they are in Village Care. Your job as a Lead Teacher is to coordinate and lead these activities, help children transition from one part of the day to the next, and be a patient, positive role model. The curriculum is designed to allow you choice and flexibility without a lot of prep work so you can focus on being present with the little ones in your classroom. Responsibilities: Lead activities and supervise children during class times Be comfortable teaching any age from 3m-PreK Be able to lead circle time Beyond routine--knows the why of a child. Understands not only an individual classroom routine but is learning the developmental milestones for class age Assess student development, strengths, and weaknesses.
