Ideal Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Lead Shunter for day and night shifts to join our client's busy team in Warrington. As a Lead Shunter, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating shunting operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles within the yard. You will lead a team of shunters, maintain high safety standards, and support daily operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all shunting yard activities. Ensure the safe movement and positioning of vehicles. Supervise and support shunter drivers. Requirements Previous experience in a shunting. Proven leadership or supervisory experience. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
