An opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking and experienced Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA) to lead and coordinate our growing team of sessional PMA's. The lead PMA will utilise the four key elements of the NHSE A-EQUIP (Advocating for Education and Quality Improvement) model to facilitate clear direction and coordination of the PMA team.
You will develop a culture of support enabling midwives across all areas to provide high quality care, identifying opportunities for improvements. Working in conjunction with the senior midwifery team and maternity governance team, the Lead PMA will enable newly qualified and experienced staff to recognise and promote personal and professional accountability, gain self-awareness and encourage educational opportunities for self-development, offering access to Restorative Clinical Supervision and addressing the emotional and wellbeing needs of individuals and groups.
